Ivaylo Danailov is the CEO & Co-Founder of SkyRefund, one of the leading air passenger assistance platforms in the world. With a background in law, he plays a key role in supporting the company’s mission to empower air travellers and help them claim compensation for delayed, cancelled, or overbooked flights. He is also actively involved in advocating for passenger rights at the European policy level.

Ivaylo founded SkyRefund after a cancelled flight to Cuba in 2016 turned into months of frustrating communication with the airline. “Back then, claiming compensation was slow and complicated. That experience sparked the idea to automate the process and make it easier for everyone,” he says. Since launching in 2017, the platform has helped over a million passengers.
